What makes a handbag vegan?

Before we let the cat out of the bag on the designers we’re loving when it comes to luxury vegan bags, it’s important to understand what makes them vegan to begin with. Specifically: what are vegan handbags made of?

Many vegan handbags are made from “leathers” that are made from all-natural materials such as apple, corn, cactus, canvas, and even fungi if you can believe it. In a nutshell, if there is zero animal-based materials, only then can the handbag can be even considered truly vegan. This means no suede or leather trim, patches, labels, or anything else!
